Abg Jo Launches Hybrid City Alliance

KUCHING, Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari Openg officiated  the Hybrid City Alliance at ‘Meet in Malaysia @ Sarawak’ roadshow today.

Held in Imperial Hotel Kuching, this roadshow was a collaboration between Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) and Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

BESarawak and the business events industry making Kuching as a member of the Hybrid City. This Alliance is a strong point for the Sarawak Government as the Post Covid Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 pinpoints digital transformation as an enabler to expedite economic growth, social development, and environmental sustainability.

 On top of that, this will create a new value proposition for business events planners and increase Sarawak’s destination appeal. 

Also present at the event were Dato Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, Sarawak’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
